Jana has worked at Runners High for over three years.  Jana takes pride in taking time with each and every customer.  Jana has a loyal following!

Wolhan:  Wolhan recently finished 3rd at the Seal Beach 5k and is an outstanding runner.  He has been with Runners High for 3 years and takes his time watching you walk, run, answering questions, and fitting you in the correct shoes.  Wolhan also coaches at a local high school.

Ryan is finishing up CSULB where he was an outstanding steeple chase runner on the track team.  Now competing in triathlons and local 5k/10k/marathons, Ryan understands what type of shoes it takes for all runners.

Jeremy, a college student/runner/musician/soccer player, will take his time to insure that your experience at Runners High is the best ever.

Megan from fit to fashion, Megan knows her stuff!  Megan has been with Runners High for years and recently finished the OC 1/2 marathon as well as several local 5k/10k's.  Megan loves giving the specialized service that Runners High offers.

Debbie leads our women's only marathon training group, works the sales floor, and teaches full time!  Finishing marathons, 5k's, 10ks, and training others comes naturally to Debbie.  Got a question, "ask Debbie".

Steve has been with Runners High for 6 months. An outstanding track, cross country runner, and coach, Steve can answer questions about shoes, clothes, and training!

Who We Are

The management team:

Jeff Tribole: Owner of Runners High for over 31 years.  Jeff has been a competitive runner, teacher, and has coached and trained runners of all abilities since 1971. Jeff also manages the Belmont Shore Shop.

Mary Farrell: Mary has been with Runners High Inc. for over 20 years.  Her Knowledge about shoes, clothes, injuries, has brought a loyal following to Runners High.  Visit Mary at our Stearns location.

Andy Reeves: Andy has been with Runners High for years and is now the assistant manager of our Stearns shop.  Andy knows his stuff!

Brian Tunnicliff:  Brian is an avid runner and Triathlete.  Currently training for the Ironman in Az., Brian brings a wealth of knowledge to Runners High.  Brian is our Associate manage of the Belmont Shore shop.

Ted Newcomb:  Ted has years of experience in both running and working with runners.  Ted can tell you how many sweat glands you have in your feet, how to train for a marathon, and so much more.  Visit Ted at our two Long Beach shops!

Sales Associates:  The staff at Runners High is simply, in our opinion, the best.  Each associate goes through hours of training in order to give you the best service possible.

WHAT WE DO:

Our trained staff offers a unique fitting experience.  For running shoes, to fit you properly, it may take 10 to 30 minutes.  We will put you on our computerized scanner for a complete foot view, we may watch you run or walk in each shoe being fit, and ask for feedback to insure the best fit possible.  

We have just installed our first computerized foot scanning machine at our Belmont Shore and Stearns shops.  This scanning machine will take ten pictures of your feet.  Show your arch pattern, weight distribution, foot size, and several other important items.  After your foot has bee scanned, we will use that information to help guide you in the selection process of your new shoes:

If you wear orthotics, our staff understands how the orthotic functions with different styles of shoes.  Please bring your orthotics with you!

Your old running/walking shoes give our staff a world of information.  Please bring them with you.

Clothing, bras, and accessories are always in stock and our friendly staff will answer any of your questions about function and fashion.
